Gridcast

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026  |  Published by Van Wagner International LLC

Summary

Gridcast is a browser extension that shows game-day weather and its fantasy football impact next to players on ESPN, Yahoo, and Sleeper fantasy football pages. Gridcast does not collect, sell, or share personal information. It has no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics.

Who we are

Gridcast is published by Van Wagner International LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we" or "us"). Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@vanwagnerinternational.com.

Information Gridcast does not collect

Gridcast does not collect your name, email address, account credentials, fantasy league or roster details, browsing history, location, or any other personal information. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics.

How Gridcast works on fantasy pages

When you visit a supported fantasy football page, Gridcast reads the team and position labels shown next to players so it can match each player to this week's game. This happens entirely inside your browser. Nothing from the page, including player names, rosters, or league information, is stored or sent anywhere.

Information stored on your device

Gridcast uses your browser's extension storage to save the weekly NFL schedule, stadium forecasts, and weather service location lookups, so pages load quickly without repeating requests. This information is not personal, stays on your device, and is refreshed automatically. Uninstalling Gridcast deletes it.

Services Gridcast connects to

To show forecasts, Gridcast requests data from two public services. These requests do not include personal information, but like any web request they reveal your IP address and basic browser details to the service that receives them.

  • ESPN's public NFL scoreboard (site.api.espn.com), for the weekly schedule and kickoff times.
  • The National Weather Service (api.weather.gov), for stadium forecasts.

Each service's own privacy practices govern how it handles those requests.

Sponsored content

The Gridcast panel may show one clearly labeled sponsor card. Sponsor cards are text included with the extension and do not load trackers. If you choose to click a sponsor's button, your browser opens the sponsor's website, and that website's privacy policy applies from then on. Gridcast does not share any information about you with sponsors.

Gridcast does not currently send impression or click counts anywhere. If a future version adds anonymous counts (for example, how many times a sponsor card was shown), we will update this policy and the Chrome Web Store listing before that version is released. Those counts would never include personal information.

Chrome Web Store user data policy

Gridcast's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising profiles, or transfer it to third parties.

Children

Gridcast is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Gridcast handles information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
